Specific training for persons directly supervising persons implementing security controls (supervisors) (in accordance with point 11.2.4 of the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998)

Duration: 6 hours

Validity: 2 years

Duration and validity depend on individual national legislative requirements.

Method of Delivery: Mixed training covering theoretical, practical and on- the-job training elements

Learning Objectives: To gain the necessary knowledge in order to manage people who are implementing security controls and to give appropriate feedback and motivation.  Course covers some of the psychological aspects of security controls and how to overcome these including techniques for conflict resolution.

The supervisory tasks

Internal quality control

Responding to detect prohibited articles

Emergency response procedures

Providing mentoring and practical training

Motivation

Conflict management

Capabilities and limitations of security equipment or screening methods used

Specific training for persons with general responsibility at national or local level for ensuring that a security programme and its implementation meet all legal provisions (security managers) (in accordance with point 11.2.5 of the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998)

 
 

Duration: 2 hours

Validity: 2 years

Duration and validity depend on individual national legislative requirements.

Method of Delivery: Mixed training covering theoretical elements and practical demonstration of the operation according to the specialization

Learning Objectives: Gaining the necessary knowledge for the persons responsible to one of the entities, which use the standards of aviation security. Besides knowledge concerning the implementation of security controls and security equipment participant will gain the ability to perform feedback and use convenient tools for motivation. Part of the training are psychological aspects of security controls, how to prevent them and resolving conflict situations.


Course content:

Relevant legal requirements with emphasis on the area in which the manager works (airports, airline approved agent etc.)
